After cross over (above) the A1, continue on the A5135 into Borehamwood, with Elstree Holiday Inn (hotel) on your right hand side. You will pass Elstree Distribution Park on your left, and then you will see the BP Petrol Station on your right. Travelling by Train
The First Capital Connect network runs from Luton in the North to Brighton or Gatwick in the South; the Central London station is Kings Cross or Farringdon. Trains stop at Elstree and Borehamwood Station freqently throughout the day. Not all trains stop at Borehamwood. From Borehamwood & Elstree station, we are a 2 minute taxi ride (Eastbound).
Travelling by Air
Trains run from Luton Airport directly to Elstree & Borehamwood First Capital Connect (formerly 'Thameslink') station and is approximately a 20 minute ride. First Capital Connect trains also run from Gatwick Airport to Borehamwood. Heathrow Airport does not have direct trains so you should take the Picadilly line into London, then get First Capital Connect to Borehamwood. A taxi from Heathrow will be expensive (daytime estimated £50+). If you are flying your own plane or helicopter, Elstree Aerodrome (EGTR) is approximately 5-10 minutes from us by car; check airfield regulations prior to flight plan.
There are a selection of local hotels nearby; all are within walking distance :
If you are combining your trip to SEG with a trip to London, the First Capital Connect (formerly Thameslink) train from Borehamwood can take you to Kings Cross in approximately 18 minutes, from where the rest of London is easily accessible using London's Train and Bus network.
