Free / Instant ISPs

If you need to test your dial-up equipment (analogue or ISDN), or are having a problem with your regular ISP, the following ISPs offer 'free' instant accounts without having to sign up. You cannot access this service via Broadband.

NOTE : These ISPs are not run by SEG and SEG do not provide support/help with them.

Dialup Number : 0845 665 3000 or 0845 609 1370
Username: uk2net
Password: uk2net
SMTP Server : smtp.uk2.net   (for sending email)
POP3 Server : You can collect POP3 mail from your existing ISP's POP3 Server
Calls are charged at 0845 (local call) rates.
IP Address & DNS automatically assigned.
Prefix 1470 if your CLI is withheld if you need to send email using SMTP.
