Ordering Online

  1. Once you know which products you wish to order, you can select them either from our Price List (Press the corresponding 'Buy It' link) or select the 'Buy It' link from the individual product page itself. Items which you select are then added to your 'shopping basket'. You can remove items from your basket later if you want to, before you confirm your order. You can also change the quantity of any item in your basket and check the contents at any time. Once you have selected the items you need, from the basket you need to select your carriage method and then click 'Checkout'. You will then be asked for the rest of your details and payment information.

Pricing & Terms

  1. All prices quoted by us on this web site and elsewhere EXCLUDE VAT. VAT at 17.5% will be added to all orders, except where excempt. If you wish to claim a VAT excemption, this must be stated at the time of order, otherwise VAT will be charged. All sales are subject to our standard terms of sale. Our online prices and carriage options are only available when you order from this web site.

Free Delivery

  1. For all online retail orders with a nett value over £150 we can include the delivery charges in the purchase price of the item. This service covers all of the UK and Northern Ireland and is typically a 2-4 working day service - just select it on the online order form.

Delivery

  1. Our standard delivery charge is £10+VAT for insured courier delivery which is normally delivered the next working day after dispatch, between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. This delivery charge applies to all orders (except where delivery charge is waived - see above). Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and offshore locations may be charged differently. For low value orders (below £50) or where we forsee potential delivery problems with your delivery address, we may use alternative or postal delivery which can take longer.
  2. Saturday or 'AM' deliveries are available at extra cost. If a premium delivery (i.e. before 12 or Saturday) is not attempted by the carrier, the surcharge will be refunded (please let us know). During and around holiday periods or other exceptionally busy times, all dispatch/delivery times may vary. Although we endeavour to process, dispatch and deliver all items as quickly as possible, no guaranteed dispatch or delivery times can be given on any orders under any circumstances.
  3. We do endeavour to process all orders received before 2pm the same working day, however this can vary during exceptionally busy periods. We do not dispatch on Saturday/Sunday, holidays or any other day when we are closed.
  4. In all cases, deliveries will need to be signed for upon delivery; you cannot request that a delivery be left without signature, as a proof of delivery is always required for security purposes. If a delivery does not arrive within the expected period, please let us know so that we can check with the delivery company. We or the delivery company cannot phone you in advance of delivery; if you are not in when they call, they will leave a card and you should then contact your local depot (on the card) to arrange re-delivery.

Technical Support

  1. We want you to enjoy and get the most from your product. If you have problems setting it up, or with general operations, we offer various technical support options. In all cases for support or faulty items, you must have your proof of purchase - please keep this safely and have it to hand whenever you need to contact us as you will be asked for it. Ordering by Credit/Debit Card

  1. We accept the following cards : Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch & Solo. Certain debit cards cannot be used for mail-order (cardholder not present) purchases - we will advise if there is any problem.

    If you purchase with a credit/debit card, delivery can normally only be made to the cardholder at his/her known billing address, i.e. the address which your bank has on file; we will verify these details. Delivery to any other address can only be made by special agreement/arrangement. We do not accept credit/debit card payment from outside the UK, where the issuing bank or registered address is outside the UK.

Order Security & Fraud Prevention

  1. Like any business, we have various measures in place to help reduce the risk of fraud and other unlawful activities. We hope that our customers will support us in taking steps to protect you and us from such things. Any order placed with us is subject to acceptance, and sometimes we will seek clarification of your order from you before accepting/proceeding with it. This is purely to assure ourselves that your order did come from you, and not from someone using your details fraudulently. If we do contact you for confirmation or clarification, please be assured that this does not infer anything against you personally - it is quite routine, so your understanding and prompt assistance is appreciated. For security reasons, we do not disclose or publish the methods used for verifying orders. Ultimately, if we are unable to satisfy ourselves of the validity of an order, obtain suitable bank authorisation or receive your co-operation in verifying your identity, it may not be accepted.

Paying by Cheque or Bank Transfer

  1. Please make cheques/postal orders payable to SEG Communications. Don't forget to add delivery cost and then VAT (17.5%). A VAT invoice/receipt will be supplied with your goods. Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling, except by special arrangment. Please do not send cash. Please don't forget to include a daytime telephone number in case we need to contact you and also a phone number at the delivery address, if different. If you wish to make payment by BACS or Internet/Telephone banking, please contact us for our bank details.

Pro-Forma Invoices & Official Orders

  1. If you require a pro-forma invoice to raise a cheque, please contact our sales office. Official purchase orders from government/LEA bodies and other approved companies are welcome. These sales do not qualify for online discounts.

Ordering the right product

  1. Please ensure that you are ordering the correct product for your requirements; check the latest specification as advertised on our web site only, not details from other sites/companies, printed brochures or elsewhere. Many products have similar names and similar physical interfaces, so please select/specify the product name clearly. Please ensure that you already have your line (ADSL, Cable etc.) installed before ordering the equipment. Contact us for help or advice in selecting the correct product or if you are unsure about anything.

Returns Policy

  1. Products are not sold on a 'trial' or 'sale-or-return' basis except where specifically agreed and in all cases subject to our standard terms & conditions.
  2. Where a return has been agreed with us, carriage charges (to or from you) are not refundable. Goods should be returned only once an RMA reference has been issued by us, in order to ensure prompt handling. Please contact us for further guidance. Our full terms of sale apply to all orders. Your statutory rights are not affected.
